It's finally here.....KINDERGARTEN!

I had been looking forward and also slightly dreading this day for a long time.....Carson's first day of Kindergarten! He was excited to start school, but also naturally a little nervous. So far, he is doing a wonderful job and is enjoying each day. He lucked out and got an amazing teacher, Mrs. Sherman, whom he loves, so that has helped him have a smooth transition to school life. He is still not a fan of getting up early in the morning, (he's not much of a morning person like his mom!) but when I pick him up from school, he always has so much to tell me!

I thought Owen would have a hard time adjusting to Carson being gone all day, but Owen is enjoying every minutes of it! Ha ha. He loves having his mama all to himself! :) But he is also coming out of his shell more when we attend play dates and story times. When Carson was around all the time, Owen would follow him and do as he did, but now, his fun little personality is shining through. He is still super shy, but he is taking giant steps towards becoming more comfortable around people and places he is not familiar with. Don't get me wrong though, Owen still misses his brother, and always gives Carson a big hug when we drop him off at school and another one when we pick him up.

I am just beyond proud of both my boys!
