Day at the Fair

It's that time of year for the Pima County Fair! Owen was actually tall enough to ride the kid rides this year. He enjoyed the more relaxing ones, like the car and train ones pictured below. He wouldn't wave or talk, but he just had this little smile on his face the whole time. It was sweet. Then, Jason and Carson talked him into going on the kiddie roller coaster. Let's just say, he was not a fan. I think we heard him crying the entire time!  Poor kid is probably traumatized now! When we ask him about it today, he says he will just stick with the trains. I don't blame him! I knew what would be Carson's favorite ride this year - it combines everything he loves - driving and driving into things - you guessed it - the bumper cars. He was in heaven running into people - thank goodness he has a while before it's time to drive a real car! We also saw a funny monkey show, checked out all the farm animals and farm equipment and visited the miniature train exhibit. I'm so blessed to be able to spend such fun family days with the best boys in the world. :)
