I always have my ear out for different hiking trails and outdoor activities in our area. Some friends of ours stumbled upon this trail to a little waterfall just 15 miles from our house - I later found out it's called Happy Valley. Isn't it amazing to find God's little treasures right around the corner from your home? Carson and Owen love exploring the outdoors, so they were excited to start our journey. They enoyed the hike even more when they found out they got to climb rocks and boulders to get to our destination. It's the little things. :) I was really impressed with Owen, who did not want any help at all, "I do it myself,' is what I heard when I would try to help him. It has been hitting me lately that he is not a baby anymore....tear. We have made the journey to the waterfall a few times since then, but the water from the mountains is slowly dissapating, so we might have to wait until Monsoon season arrives before we make another trek back.
