Well, our little boy is now 18-months. I feel like he just turned 1 yesterday and now he is halfway to 2! He is beginning to talk a little more - some of his new words are ball, knock knock, dog,, up, I love you (well, he tries to say it in his own way :)) and Jeff Bridges. Seriously about the last one. Jason will say his name and Owen tries to repeat it, but he only does it with Jason. I guess Owen is a big Jeff Bridges fan, lol! He also knows a bunch of his body parts and most of his farm animals - the horses are his favorite right now. But his favorite thing to do right now is play cars. He makes them drive around the house, saying "vroom vroom," and wherever we go, he has a car in his hand. It's really fun to play with him at this age.
Owen had his well check-up last week, and is healthy and growing/developing right on track. Once again, the moment we placed him on the scale, he freaked out, but then the moment we left the office he was all smiles again. His stats are: 60% head (his head has grown a lot from the 25% when he was born!), 25 pounds (49%) and 33 inches tall (75%).
I couldn't be more blessed to have this fun, sweet and sometimes challenging {what boy isn't? :)} little boy as my son!
