Heffel Visit

Grandpa and grandma Heffel came for a short visit last weekend. The boys were so excited to once again have visitors, as you can tell from the first picture. :) We attempted to fly kites on Saturday, but the wind decided to get a little crazy and snapped our kites. I think we got our $2.50 worth though. Carson had more fun running after and retrieving the broken kites than actually flying them. We also played a lot of pinochle, played some baseball in the backyard, and Carson and Owen loved showing off their toys. Owen was a little standoffish at first, but by the end of the trip he had warmed up to grandpa and grandma quite nicely. Hopefully, he'll get better with each visit. I remember Carson used to be the same way at this age, and now he is anything by shy when we have visitors! Here are a few pictures from their visit.
