Easter Weekend 2010

With Owen's arrival quickly approaching and Jason having to work that weekend, we decided to have a nice, relaxing Easter at home this year. Carson had two Easter eggs hunts, we dyed some eggs, and ate a delicious Easter dinner with our friends Dan and Autumn. Of course we didn't want to overlook the true meaning of Easter; so we read about the Easter story in Carson's children's bible, which he loves. He even wanted to watch The 10 Commandments with mommy, although he didn't last long - after the big day it didn't take him long to fall fast asleep.

Carson was very concerned the entire hunt because the easter eggs were dirty. He's never cared about his food or clothes being dirty before, so I have no idea where this came from! =)

Mommy forgot to bring Carson's Easter basket....bad mommy! Of course Carson didn't care. At least he got to use his Easter basket Easter morning.
