Pottytraining Progress!

A couple of weeks ago, Carson was excited to pick out his very first undies. He decided on the Pixar movie package, mainly because of The Incredible ones, which he would wear every day if he could! We started out with him wearing them for an hour, and I was going to add another hour each day, but by the 3rd day he was pretty much in them for the entire day, and has been every since! Of course, we have better days than others, and he still refuses to poop in the potty (he will bring me a pull-up when he has to poop, so at least he isn't pooping in his underwear!), but I am so proud of the progress he has made!
I have had to be quite creative in getting him this far. We use a sticker chart and he gets to pick out a small dinosaur as a reward when he finishes a row or goes so long without an accident. One trick I use when we are out in public (because he gets nervous peeing in public restrooms) is I keep a small bag of Cherrios in my purse, and when it's time for him to go, I let him throw a few Cherrios in the toilet, and then he has to aim for them with his pee - he thinks it's a fun game and it's pretty entertaining to watch too! =) He is quite proud to be in big boy underwear, and I have great hope that he will continue to improve!
