Our Easter Day

This was actually the first Easter Jason, Carson and I have spent together as a family. Last year, Carson and I were visiting family in Kansas. Besides the Easter bunny making a visit we didn't have much planned except spending time together as a family and counting our blessings. Then our friends, Dave and Jessica, decided to host a last-minute Easter dinner at their house, along with Dan and Autumn. Carson always has a fun time playing with their kids, Logan and Jacob, and this time was no exception. The kids had another Easter egg hunt in their backyard and we ate a wonderful ham dinner, followed by board games. It was nice to spend time with friends on this special day. We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. Here are a bunch of pictures from Easter morning and the Easter egg hunt at the Jackson's (photos courtesy of Jessica Jackson).

Easter Morning

Watching foam animals take shape in water.

Our Easter Egg hunt in our backyard. We did it in the morning, and it ended up being really cold and windy that morning. Carson was not too interested in stopping and hunt to pose for pictures, so I didn't get that many good ones. I pretty much just took a bunch and hoped he was looking at the camera in some of them. =)

The Easter bunny really made Carson work this year. =)

Carson was thrilled he got to lick the mashed pototoes off the beaters.
