A few weeks before Owen was born, a few friends of mine threw me and Owen a lovely baby shower. The cake and decorations were all robot-themed, since that is the theme of his room. I still have the 'Welcome Owen' banner hanging in Owen's room because it fits perfectly. I feel so blessed to have made some wonderful friends here in Arizona - it has definitely helped me to adjust to motherhood and Arizona, especially since we live so far from our families. So a special thank you to Jessica, Carly, Diana and Jenn for everything you ladies did for the shower! And thank you to all who attended or sent gifts! Owen and I feel so loved!
