Riding Horses

A friend of ours found out that the horse stables on the Fort Huachuca base give horse rides to kids, so we decided to check it out one day. Carson was so excited to ride a horsey, and now asks to go every week. When he got up close to the horse the first time we went, he seemed a little hesitant, but once he started to pet the horse and call it by it's name, his hesitation turned into excitement and he was ready to ride! While on the horse, he would say, "Giddy up" or "Wee haw". And of course I thought he looked so cute in his little riding helmet. Here are a few pics from our horse riding trips.

Carson's first time on the horse. Right when I took the picture, the horse swatted a fly, which is why Carson looks a little uptight.
