Mom's Night Out

This month, the wonderful mom's group Carson and I belong to decided to have a glammed up mom's night out. We went to Hana Tokyo - one of those restaurants where they cook the food in front of you (my favorite!!). It was fun to wear a dress and talk to adults; instead of my usual jeans and a t-shirt and one-sided conversations with Carson all day. Not that I don't enjoy Carson's babbling. Our cook found it humorous to shoot saki into all of the mom's mouths, particularly a couple of the ladies. After I told him I had a 30 minute drive, plus I had my glass of wine, so no saki for me, he preceded to shoot saki in my eye! All in good fun of course. =) Without these ladies and the numerous playgroups each week, I think I would slowly be going insane inside our house!
By the way, Jason did an amazing job putting Carson to bed; something he isn't too familiar with because Carson is such a mommy's boy. Last time I left the two of them alone, I came home to find them both sprawled out in our bed after a late night snack of pineapple.

Oh... Momma time is so great and soooo important! I love being a "stay at home" mom too, but I really need to get out with my girl friends!
