First Ride in the Wagon

This was Owen's first wagon ride with big brother Carson. Carson was so great holding him gently. Carson is becoming a great big brother! And Owen loves Carson. I always catch him watching Carson with a big smile on his face. He will randomly laugh at Carson, too. Owen just thinks his big brother is the best! Of course, Carson loves the attention and will entertain Owen whenever possible. I'm so thankful Carson has adjusted so well to being a big brother (not to say he doesn't have his jealous moments, which is to be expected, but overall he's done very well!).

Grandpa Hillard's Visit

Grandpa Hillard came for a visit a few weeks ago, and we had a busy week! When he and Jason weren't playing golf or gambling (:P), we took a trip to Colossal Cave, went fishing and took Carson to his swimming lessons. With all the going on, the week flew by! In all the running around, I somehow lost my camera, which I am not thrilled about, so I lost a few pictures. Thankfully, I found an old camera of ours, so I haven't missed too much documenting of Carson and Owen. =) Here are a few pictures from my dad's trip, most taken by my dad. Thanks for everything while you were here - we love you!

Super Owen

One of Owen's favorite things is to lay on my legs as I left him up like he is flying. For some reason, he just thinks this is the greatest thing ever and will always cheer up. I tried to take a few pictures of him.

Love this picture...the tummy time is paying off. He can now roll over from stomach to back. At first I thought it was an accident, but he's been doing it more and more.

Carson Turns 3!

I am still shocked that it has been 3 years since Carson's birth! He has grown into a fun-loving and intelligent little boy who is full of energy and life.We love him so much!! For his 3rd birthday party, Carson wanted to make it Incredibles-themed and just invite a few of his closest friends. I bought the kid's black masks, water guns and I printed off Incredibles iron-ons and ironed them on white t-shirts. Carson also got an Incredibles/Batman cape from Jason, Owen and I for his birthday. The boys had a great time making their own pizzas, playing with water guns and water balloons and eating cake. After playing hard for a few hours, I think we all took 2-hour naps! Here are some pictures from his special day!

Waiting to open his gifts from Mommy, Daddy and Owen. His party started at 11am, so we let him open our presents after breakfast, which is why he's still in his pjs.

Bow on Owen's head! =)

It was a really funny site when Jason brought out the water balloons - they wouldn't break! The boys just kept hitting each other with them until finally they started throwing them on the rocks. We really should have videotaped it; it was like a comedy act. =)
Birthday Cake Time
Red tongue!
We caught Carson taking frosting from the cake and putting it on his piece of cake - he thought he was being sneaky, haha!

A special thank you to my friend, Sandy, who took a bunch of these pictures! =)
