Mother's Day at the ballpark

All I wanted for Mother's day was to take my boys to a baseball game.....so we headed to the Tucson Padres game, and had a fantastic time! We were in the second row behind the visitor dugout, so we had a great view, which really helped hold Carson and Owen's attention.....not to mention all the snacks! :) I always loved going to Royals baseball games when I was younger with my family, so I want to instill a love for the game into my boys. Before the game, the kids were allowed to walk on the field. I figured Carson would go, but wasn't sure about Owen. It was a wonderful surprise to see him eager to go (without me!) with Carson onto the field. They held hands the whole time, which was adorable. One of the field workers came and found us afterwards and gave the boys 2 baseballs for being so cute and brave. :)  Next up, we'll head to a Diamondbacks game!
