Yikes, I did not realize I am so far behind on posting. I need to get in gear! Our Easter was lovely, from what I can remember from 2 months ago, haha. :) Seriously though, we enjoyed family time by dying eggs, creating Easter crafts and participating in the Benson egg hunt and our church's egg hunt. Owen was not a happy camper during the Benson Easter egg hunt. He was fine and dandy until he realized Carson had left to join his age group for the hunt. Then he tripped and fell and seconds later the horn blew for the hunt to begin. This was just too much for little O and he let everyone in the park know, haha. By the time we found Carson the hunt was over - luckily for Owen he has an awesome big brother who shared his egg stash. The next morning at our church egg hunt, Owen faired much better and was happy to participate with his brother alongside him. :) I also always make sure to read the Easter story to the boys from their awesome children's bible, The Jesus Storybook Bible (the boys and I love it - check it out if you have little ones) and talk about the real reason we celebrate this awesome holiday because it is pretty darn amazing -
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him. John 3:16-17
