Swim Lessons for the Boys

This year, both Carson and Owen took swim lessons at Karen's Aquatics - a swim instructor who teaches from her home. I was thoroughly impressed with how far Carson and Owen both came during their lessons! Carson was in his own class - and at the beginning he was nervous to jump in and put his head fully under for more than a few seconds, but by the end, Carson could jump in and swim to the teacher with his head under - and he liked it! :) I think it also helped he got his own pair of goggles because once he put those things on, he was like a little fish. Owen took a parent-tot class with me. He really enjoyed playing the games and jumping in the water. The teacher was impressed how calm he was when we practiced back floats as well. I think next year, we're going to try a class by himself - it'll be good for him to do something without me, and he picks up things so fast, so we'll see how it goes. :) Here are a few pictures from the lessons.....
