When Carson got home from preschool, we decided to build towers like in the Angry Birds game he dearly loves. Then the boys threw balls at the towers to try and knock them down. I might have even thrown a ball or two. :) Since Carson is into Angry Birds so much, I found some cute printables (I found the printables on this great blog) and some coloring pages (not shown) for him and I to work on while Owen napped. He did a great job coloring, sorting the coins and writing his numbers. Who knew bricks and Angry Birds could be such great teaching aides!

Angry Birds Fun
I love it when I find toys I have completely forgotten about.....because to the boys, it becomes a brand new toy! When Carson was Owen's age, he loved playing with these large cardboard bricks. I came across them the other day and knew they would be a hit with Owen. And sure enough, Owen had a blast building with them, although I think he loved knocking them down even more! It even gave me a chance to work on colors with Owen. He can say and recognize yellow and blue so far, and we're working on the others, no hurry though, I know he's not even 2 yet. :)
