Although we head to Kansas/Oklahoma, I still like to have our own little Christmas morning, even if it is a few weeks before the actual day. Now that Carson is a little older, we write Santa a letter, asking him if he could come to our house early since we will be visiting grandparents. This seems to work for now, so we'll see how long it lasts, haha! We go through stockings, unwrap presents, enjoy a large breakfast together and talk about the real story of Christmas, and starting next year, we're going to start looking at Christmas tree lights that night (this year, we didn't get a chance to). It's always a lovely, calm day with the family - before the usual chaos of our Christmas trip! :)

| Carson with his "sackboy" from the game Little Big Planet, a game he currently loves. He always tells me how "little big planet" is eating with him or sitting next to him, kind of like an imaginary friend, so Santa got him the real thing. :) |
