What Owen is up to these days.......

I have so many random pictures of Owen that I have yet to put on the blog, so this post should do the trick! Owen also just had his 15-month well-checkup - yes, my baby is now 15 months, which means he has entered the toddler stage. It's really hard for me to believe; I still feel like it wasn't that long ago I brought him home from the hospital. Anyways, I'm sure you all want to know his stats - he is in the 30th percentile for weight and the 80th percentile for height, so he is tall and skinny just like his dad and brother. :) But most important, he is perfectly healthy and developing right on track. I'm one blessed mommy!

Owen has really started to babble/talk the past few weeks. It's so fun to hear what comes out of his mouth and to try to get him to say new things. He now says "hot," "moo" when asked what a cow says, "baaa" when asked what a sheep says, "dada" (finally!), "mama," "nigh nigh" for night night, and I know there are more, but my mind isn't cooperating with me at the moment! He also loves books right now. He will bring me book after book and back his little butt into me until I place him on my lap. He knows how to get his way, haha. He points and wants to know what each object is. he especially likes the lift the flap books, although if you don't watch him, he'll just rip the flaps right off.

Let's see, what else.....he likes to copy whatever Carson is doing at the moment, not much to Carson's delight sometimes, as you can imagine. I have already had to break up a few brotherly fights, and sometimes it's Owen I'm having to pull off Carson - he's a fiesty one! I have also been working with him on body parts, and he knows his eye, nose, mouth, tongue, belly button and toes. He loves finding his belly button, although it's really hard for him to see it over his chubby tummy, so sometimes he'll bend his head all the way down trying to actually see it. It's hilarious. And tonight I just taught him to lift his finger to show that he is 1-years-old. He is quite proud of himself for that one! I just have so much fun teaching both my boys about the world around them. Well, I could just talk and talk about this little guy all day, but let's get to my randomness of pictures of him......Enjoy!

He also likes to read his books in his cozy coupe. :)

Brushing his teeth likes his big brother. :)

This picture really shows his personality! :)

He loves to play with the hose and fill up his water table.

Loving playing with his big brother
