Welcome Gammy :)

We just had a wonderful visit from Jason's mom, aka Gammy, who ended up getting to stay a few days longer due to flight cancellations (which the boys were more than thrilled about!). Carson was so excited for her visit that we made a "Welcome Gammy" sign a week in advance, and then I had to listen to him ask every morning if it was time to go get Gammy. :) At the airport, he held it over his head - I so wish I had taken a picture! During her stay, we made visits to Tombstone, the park to fly kites (or attempt to!), Kartchner Vista Caverns Park to hike the trails, and the SV Mall to play in the play area and the video game area, but I think we spent the most time just chilling in the backyard playing tag, hide-and-seek and chasing bubbles from the bubble machine. After the boys went to bed (they were exhausted each night!), we played a lot of pinochle, and Jason and I even got a date-night at The Melting Pot. Thank you for EVERYTHING while you were here - even taking care of two crying boys that one eventful night, haha. Carson and Owen always enjoy all the play time during your visits and always sleep so well the week after! I hope you did too! Here are a collection of pictures from the week....

Attempting to fly a kite - which is hard when there isn't a lot of wind, but the boys thought it was fun nonetheless!

Eating at Big Nose Kate's for lunch

Carson getting some shooting lessons from Gammy :)

The boys in their plaid shirts - they are just awesome at posing for pictures - let me tell you! :P

Owen holding on for dear life (but enjoying every minute of it!) on a ride at the mall.

On another ride - Owen didn't enjoy this one as much, haha!

Carson and Gammy leading the way!

Owen checking out the cave artifacts. :)

Owen playing with Gammy's glasses while waiting for our food at The Mesquite Tree. He's so adorable in glasses!

Carson's turn - because you know if one gets to do something, then the other has to. :) And Carson looks just as adorable! :)

Carson's favorite game to play with Gammy - Slapjack!

Finally got one nice pic of  Gammy and the boys. :)
