Snow Day!

Last weekend we had our first official snow day! The boys and I woke up to snow covering the ground, not much, but more than enough to play in. Knowing now that snow does not last long here in Arizona, we quickly bundled up and headed outside. Carson knew exactly what he wanted to do in the snow - have a snowball fight! This was Owen's first encounter with snow, except for looking at it through the car window on our way through New Mexico last December. He wasn't quite sure if he liked it or not. Or it could have been he didn't like the puffy coat and hat wrapped around his head and face, so he did not stay long. But Carson and I had a fun time throwing snow balls and I even taught him how to make a snow angel. Sure enough, the snow was gone by lunchtime. Here are some pictures from our snow-filled morning!
