I have been wanting to make pine cone bird feeders with Carson for a while now and with the chilly weather we had a couple of weeks ago, it was the perfect time to drag out the birdseed, peanut butter and pine cones. Carson loved this craft and is already talking about doing it again. Whenever we go outside, he checks the bird feeders to see if the birds have been eating. The only downside to this activity....even though I tried to be careful with the birdseed - it was EVERYWHERE! Next time, this may be an outdoor craft. :)
