I can't believe Owen is already 9 months. His first year is flying by! He is already doing so much at 9 months.....he can wave hi and bye, clap, say mama and hi on a regular basis (I think he's said dada twice), point to things in books and turn the pages, crawl, walk while holding on to something, give kisses and hugs and throw a ball. Whew! I'm sure there's more, too, like he loves to imitate Carson. For example, Carson was playing with the Melissa & Doug set where you chop play food with a knife (wooden of course), and Owen grabbed the knife from him and started hitting at the food. It's amazing what babies pick up. He is also becoming the 'annoying little brother"(I say that with love!), always wanting what Carson has or knocking over his towers. He's a persistent little guy too; he doesn't let Carson push him around. It's so much fun to see them play and interact with each other.
Owen had his 9 month baby well check-up yesterday and was healthy as can be and right on track developmentally, which is always music to my ears. :) He weighed in at 20 pounds 12 ounces (60%) and is 28 3/4 inches tall (also 60%). He's gone down a little percentage wise, but the doctor just says that's because he's moving so much now. He's always on the go!
Forgot to add he also has 4 teeth, two on the bottom and two on the top.
