Rainy Day Carnival

There was a little carnival set up in Sierra Vista a couple of weekends ago, and with Jason working the night shift, Carson and I had nothing to do one afternoon while Jason was sleeping, so I told him we could go to the carnival. Of course, halfway there, the clouds rolled in and it started to drizzle, but when I mentioned something to Carson about turning around, he wanted no part of it! I really have to watch what I say because he will keep me to my word now! =) So we kept on our way to the carnival. When we got there it was still drizzling and cloudy and really not a great day to ride rides and play games, but we made the most of it....and actually had a lot of fun! Carson ended up winning a dolphin while playing one carnival game, and he even rode some kiddie rides all by himself. Here he is in his batman plane....looking a little hesitant. I think this was his first ride, but after the ride was over he wanted to go again, so it must not have been that bad. Thirty minutes later, I was freezing and the drizzle started to turn to rain, so we bought a funnel cake and some hot chocolate and called it a day.
