It's amazing that we have been in Arizona for over 2 years and had never made the 2 1/2 hour drive to Phoenix. Well, that has now changed....Carson and I and a few of our friends decided to take advantage of the gorgeous Phoenix weather by heading to the Phoenix Zoo before it gets too hot. We got to the zoo around 11:00 in the morning and left when the zoo closed at 5, and we still didn't make it through the entire zoo! The kids all had a blast, and I must admit, at 33 weeks pregnant I was a little sore the next day, but we will definitely be headed back again....

The Phoenix Zoo had a bunch of play areas for the kids. Carson enjoyed this big treehouse in particular.
Carson also found some water to play in and before I knew it, he was drenched! Thank goodness, I came prepared with extra clothes!
