San Pedro Hike

This day we explored the San Pedro River trails about 10 miles outside of Sierra Vista. I love finding new trails and places to explore with the boys, and I am sure this will be a spot we bring Jason back to. You start out at the San Pedro River house and follow a dusty trail through a field until you get to the actual river valley, where there are gorgeous tall trees, greenery (yes, actual green plants!) and even some water for the boys to practice skipping rocks.

EASTER

Our Easter was pretty low key this year with Jason at OTS and Owen and Carson recovering from sicknesses. The boys did go to the Easter egg hunt at the local park the week before (which is probably where they got their sicknesses from! ha ha), and had a great time hunting for eggs with their friends, Logan, Ethan and Kennedy. Easter morning, the boys found their Easter baskets and we had our own little hunt in the backyard. I made a little ham dinner and we just hung out, snuggled on the couch, dyed eggs, and talked about why we have Easter. Sometimes it's these low key times I love the most.

Owen Turns 4!

My baby is 4! Part of me wonders where the last 4 years have gone. It still feels like it wasn't that long ago I was holding this little guy in a gas station parking lot! He definitely keeps me on my toes, and I love his sensitive and loving nature. This boy does not hesitate to tell me, or anyone else, that he loves them. I hear it many times a day, along with receiving his constant hugs and snuggles. He just knows how to make someone feel loved and he wears his own heart on his sleeve, and I love that about him and hope he never changes. Happy birthday my sweet Owen!

This picture cracks me up so much because I love how Carson is staring at the cake, lol. :)

Daddy gave Owen his bday present early since he will be at OTS during his actual birthday. It's the new Skylanders game! :)

Poor Owen was so sick on his actual birth day! He couldn't even get off the couch or eat cake. We even had to reschedule his party, but better late than never! :)

Thank you Grandpa and Grandma Heffel! And thank you for the Beyblades!

Thank you Gammy and Papa Steve! And thank you for the clothes!

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Hillard!

Skylander balloon toss at Owen's bday party. This was right before I got hit! lol

So happy at his party!

Skylander cupcakes!

I made chompies out of paper lanterns. :)
